We will teach you , 2-D and 3-D ANIMATION, VIDEO PODCASTING, VIDEO GAME DESIGN, and ADVANCED VIDEO GAME DESIGN. We will also teach you how to integrate these multmedia applications. At CMM, students get hands-on instruction from trained professionals and UNI professors. Students share ideas, work together, and have fun with other talented middle school kids; they also get a taste of life in a tremendous university setting.

INVIGORATING CAMPUS SETTING

The learning labs are in the beautiful, historic (and newly renovated) Lang Hall on UNI’s main campus in Cedar Falls.

Students get a chance to:

take part in organized activities
visit area multimedia firms and see what they do

WHERE IS CMM?

Camp Multimedia is held in Lang Hall at The University of Northern Iowa's main campus in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Here is a MAP to help you get there.

WHO CAN ATTEND CMM?

Students grades 6-9. You should be entering 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th grade in August, 2014, or have just completed 9th grade to be eligible for CMM.

HOw MUCH does Camp Multimedia Cost?

249 per week tuition for all day camp instruction and activities (9:00-3:00 pm)
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION (before May 15) is $199.
$40 per week for lunch (optional)

Scholarship opportunities for Camp Multimedia

CMM is committed to helping students with an avid interest in multimedia and who are in need of financial assistence, with limited scholarship support.

If you are eligible, please fill out this scholarship form. We would be happy to mail the forms to you, and any other registration materials: call 273-5972 (camp director Bettina Fabos) and leave a message. These forms are due by May 20th and you will be notified by June 1.

REFUNDS

Should a camp participant be unable to attend Camp Multimedia before the camp starts, a full refund will be issued to that person. Should a camp participant be able to attend only a part of the camp session, then a partial refund will be issued (according to days attended).
